CONTEXTE AND INTENT

Pikante was born from a clear desire: to create a hot sauce brand deeply rooted in the Caribbean, yet designed to fit into a bold, vibrant, and resolutely contemporary brand universe. Its slogan, "Not for the faint-hearted," sums up the brand's essence: an intense flavor, a strong identity, and a culture embodied. 

The objective of this collaboration was to design a visual identity and packaging universe that was warm, joyful, and instantly recognizable. An aesthetic that embraces its Creole roots while playing with the codes of food design, offering a fresh and expressive interpretation of the artisanal product.

CREATIVE APPROCHE AND VISUAL DIRECTION

Pikante's visual universe evokes the warmth of the Caribbean, the richness of its recipes, and the brand's vibrant personality. The logo was designed using rounded typography, revisited with subtlety and modernity. The overall effect exudes instant vitality, enhanced by the addition of a stylized chili pepper design, integrated as a visual signature element.

The color palette conveys this intensity with a rich chromaticity that structures an immediately perceptible identity, almost edible to the eye.
