CONTEXTE AND INTENT
The Grid is a new private tennis club designed as a living space in its own right, blending sporting tradition, the culture of the game, and the art of living. Conceived in the spirit of exclusive country clubs, the project sought an identity capable of combining heritage elegance, physical energy, and contemporary refinement.
The studio was commissioned to create a complete visual identity and overall artistic direction, intended to lay the visual foundations of this intimate club, combining quiet strength and masterful aesthetics.
CREATIVE APPROCHE AND VISUAL DIRECTION
The club’s visual universe is based on a balance between prestige and power, between clear lines and assertive gestures. The logo, designed in capital letters with bold sans-serif typography, reflects the stability, endurance, and sporting dimension of the venue. It is subtly contrasted by a calligraphic signature letter, which introduces a more refined touch and evokes the world of crests or private monograms, as well as a nod to the ‘‘closed circle’’ aspect and the heritage of elite sport.
The color palette evokes the courts, natural materials, and the inner fire of performance, drawing on a blend of sporting and editorial imagery.
